You're in the right place.

Hey there — I’m Morgan Jones, a pianist and teacher offering online piano lessons over Zoom (and in-person lessons in Los Angeles).

I work with everyone from total beginners to professionals—kids, adults, and retirees. Some students play daily; others simply want a creative, enjoyable weekly lesson. No matter your style, my job is to meet you where you are and make piano feel genuinely rewarding—by building curiosity, self-proficiency, and achievement.

My teaching began in New York City public schools as a Morse Teaching Artist Fellow at Juilliard while earning my Master’s degree. Today, I chair the Keyboard Department at the Los Angeles College of Music. Past roles include serving as Music Director for American Contemporary Ballet, and my performance work includes collaborations with Aretha Franklin, contributions to Panic! at the Disco’s “High Hopes,” and appearances on Glee, American Idol, and The Voice. I enjoy performing with orchestras, my jazz piano trio and as a solo pianist.

Private lessons are $150/hour in person and $120/hour over Zoom.
